Walk on the Side of Righteousness Daily Reflection and Prayer Wednesday July 23rd 2025
Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

In this verse, Jesus reminds us that when we serve others, especially those in need, we are serving Him directly. It challenges us to see Christ in every person we encounter, particularly the vulnerable and marginalized. This perspective calls us to live with compassion, kindness, and generosity, recognizing that our actions have eternal significance. It asks us to move beyond indifference and take active steps to help those around us.
Today, look for opportunities to serve someone in need. This could be as simple as offering a kind word, helping a neighbor with groceries, volunteering at a food bank, or donating to a charity. Remember that small acts of love and service are valuable and meaningful.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, help me to see You in everyone I meet, especially those who are struggling and in need. Open my heart to serve without hesitation or judgment. Teach me to love as You love and to act with compassion and humility. May my hands be Your hands, reaching out to bring comfort and hope. Amen.
