Walk on the Side of Righteousness Reflection and Prayer Sunday July 20th 2025
2 Corinthians 8:21 “For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.”
This verse reminds us of the importance of integrity and transparency in all our actions. It calls us to live in a way that is honorable not just before God but also in the eyes of others. This means our faith should be evident in how we handle responsibilities, treat people, and manage resources. Living with such integrity builds trust and honors God.
Examine your daily habits and decisions to ensure they reflect honesty and honor both spiritually and socially. Commit to transparency in your dealings, whether at work, home, or community, and seek to build trust by aligning your actions with your values. Consider ways you can be more accountable, perhaps by sharing your goals or progress with a trusted friend or mentor.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to live with integrity and honor in all areas of my life. Guide my actions so that they reflect Your truth and love, not only before You but also before those around me. Give me the courage to be transparent and accountable, and may my life be a witness of Your grace. Amen.
