Walk on the Side of Righteousness Daily Reflection and Prayer Saturday July 12th 2025
Philippians 2:3-4 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
These verses remind us to act with humility and to value others above ourselves. They call us to avoid selfish ambition and vain conceit, encouraging a spirit of genuine care and consideration for the needs of others. This challenges us to look beyond our own interests and to serve those around us with love and kindness, reflecting the heart of Christ.
Today, I will intentionally listen to someone without interrupting or thinking about my response. I will look for an opportunity to help someone in need, putting their interests before my own. I will practice humility by acknowledging when I am wrong and by encouraging others sincerely.
Prayer
Lord, help me to put aside selfish desires and pride. Teach me to value others as much as I value myself. Give me a humble heart that seeks to serve and uplift those around me. May my actions be guided by love and a sincere concern for the well-being of others. Transform my attitude so that I mirror Your humility and grace every day. Amen.
