Day 10 of Lent – Saturday March 15th 2025

Matthew 5: 7-9 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

John 14: 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Romans 15: 13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Day 10 Reflection – Peace

During Lent, we are invited to focus on cultivating peace in our hearts and lives. True peace comes from trusting God and walking in His ways. In the midst of challenges and uncertainties, God offers His peace, which surpasses all understanding.

God calls us to be peacemakers, spreading His love and grace in a world that often feels chaotic. This Lent, let us reflect on areas where we can bring peace—whether it’s in our relationships, communities, or own hearts. Trust in God’s promises and allow His peace to guide your actions and decisions.

Prayer: Heavenly Father thank You for the gift of Your peace that calms our fears and soothes our souls. In this season of Lent, help us to draw closer to You and embrace the peace that only You can provide. Teach us to be instruments of Your peace, bringing reconciliation, love, and hope to those around us. May Your peace fill our hearts, guiding us to live in harmony with others and in obedience to Your will.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
