Saturday October 4th – Living in Peace
Hebrews 12:14 “Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.”

Reflection:
This verse calls us to pursue two vital aspects of the Christian life: peace and holiness. Living in peace with others requires intentional effort, patience, and forgiveness. It challenges us to set aside pride and conflict, fostering harmony in our relationships. Holiness, on the other hand, involves a commitment to live according to God’s will, separating ourselves from sin and dedicating our lives to Him. The promise that without holiness no one will see the Lord reminds us of the seriousness of our spiritual walk and the importance of striving for purity and righteousness. This verse encourages us to examine our hearts and actions, asking where we might need to grow in peace and holiness.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to live at peace with everyone around me. Teach me to be patient and forgiving, even when it’s difficult. Strengthen my heart to pursue holiness, to turn away from anything that separates me from You, and to live a life that reflects Your love and righteousness. May I always remember that it is through holiness that I can truly experience Your presence. Guide me each day to walk closer with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
