Eastertide Day 33 Thursday May 22 2025
John 15: 9-11 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
During this joyful season of Eastertide, we are reminded of the profound love that the Father has for us, mirrored in the love Jesus has for each of us. As Jesus invites us to remain in His love, we are called to live in obedience to His commands, staying closely connected to Him. This abiding love brings us true joy— a joy that is full and complete, transcending all circumstances.
Let us reflect on how we can deepen our relationship with Christ during this Eastertide, embracing His love and allowing His joy to fill our hearts.
Prayer: Loving Father, thank You for the gift of Your Son’s love, poured out for us. Help us to remain in Jesus’ love by following His commands and living according to Your will.
