Day 31

Day 31 of Lent Wednesday March 25th

Scripture

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”John 8:12 (NIV)

Reflection

On this 31st day, we begin our final full week before Holy Week. As the days grow closer to the events of Good Friday and Easter, our focus turns entirely to Jesus. He does not just give us a map or a set of rules; He gives us Himself. He is the Light that shows us the way through the complexities of our daily lives.

Following Christ means that even when our circumstances feel uncertain or heavy, we are never truly in the dark. His grace provides the clarity we need to make the right decisions at work, to speak with kindness to our families, and to stay faithful to our Lenten journey. Today, let His light lead you. You don’t have to stumble through your responsibilities. Simply stay close to Him, and He will give you the “light of life” for every step you take.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I thank You for being the Light of my world. On this 31st day of Lent, I ask You to shine Your light into every corner of my life. Help me to follow You closely today, so that I may walk in Your truth and not in my own confusion. Give me the grace to reflect Your light to everyone I meet. Amen.
