Day 29

Day 29 of Lent Monday March 23rd

Scripture

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

Reflection

It is Monday, Day 29. By this point in Lent, it is normal to feel tired. The initial excitement of starting a new habit has passed, and the daily discipline can feel like a chore. This scripture is a straightforward promise: when you rely on God instead of just yourself, He gives you the energy to keep going.

The Strength of Devotion means you don’t have to quit when you’re tired. Whether you are at work, at home, or sticking to your Lenten goals, you have access to a strength that doesn’t run out. Today, don’t worry about how much further you have to go. Just focus on the task in front of you with the confidence that you won’t give out. You have exactly what you need to do a good job today.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for this Monday. I am tired, and I need Your strength to get through my “to-do” list and my day. Please renew my energy as You promised. Help me to work hard, stay patient with my family, and keep my commitments without slowing down. I am counting on You today. Amen.l not grow faint. My devotion is anchored in Your power. Amen.
