Day 26 of Lent Thursday March 19th

Scripture
“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.” — 1 Peter 1:8
Reflection
On this 26th day, we look at devotion as the ultimate “power source.” Often, we think of devotion as a quiet, internal feeling, but in this fifth week, it becomes a visible strength. It is the reason you can tackle a complex scheduling project with clarity, lead a team with patience, or care for your home with a light heart.
The “inexpressible joy” Peter describes isn’t a distraction from your responsibilities—it is the energy that helps you complete them. The Strength of Devotion means that even when the “seen” world is busy, loud, or demanding, your “unseen” connection to Christ remains a steady, upbeat rhythm. Today, let that joy be your edge. Let it give you a second wind in your professional tasks and a sense of deep satisfaction in your personal growth. You aren’t just checking off another day on the calendar; you are walking in a strength that is both traditional and transformative.
Prayer
Lord, I thank You that my devotion to You provides a strength the world can’t replicate. On this 26th day, let Your “inexpressible joy” be my fuel. Give me a sharp mind for my work, a kind heart for my family, and a resolute spirit for my journey. I trust that because I am devoted to You, I have everything I need to handle today with excellence and grace. Amen.
