Day 18 of Lent Tuesday March 25th 2025
Philippians 4: 6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
Colossians 3: 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
James 1: 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Day 18 of Lent – Being Thankful
During this season of Lent, take a moment each day to reflect on the things to be thankful for in your life. Gratitude opens our hearts to recognize God’s work around us and within us. Even in moments of hardship, there is always something to be thankful for—whether it’s the people in our lives, the beauty of creation, or the gift of God’s love and grace.
Today, pause and think about three things you’re grateful for. Write them down, say them aloud, or meditate on them in silence. Let this gratitude fill your heart and guide your actions throughout the day.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for the countless blessings You have poured into my life.
Help me to live each day with a thankful heart, recognizing Your presence in all things.
During this season of Lent, may I grow closer to You and learn to appreciate the gifts You have given.
Teach me to share Your love and kindness with others, just as You have shared it with me.
Amen.
