Day 18

Day 18 of Lent Tuesday March 10th

Scripture

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”Galatians 6:9

Reflection

Endurance isn’t always about heroics or giant leaps forward. Most of the time, it’s simply about finding a rhythm. On a long journey, the mid-week days are often the most telling. The novelty of the start has worn off, and the destination still feels far away. This is where we have to settle into a steady pace.

Today, don’t worry about how much of the road is left. Instead, focus on the step you are taking right now. Faith isn’t just for the mountain tops; it’s for the Tuesday mornings when we simply have to keep showing up for our families, our jobs, and our commitments. There is a quiet dignity in your perseverance. You don’t have to do it all at once; you just have to not give up on the good work you’re doing today. Trust that every steady step is leading to a harvest you can’t see yet.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the strength to keep going when the path feels ordinary. When I feel weary or wonder if my efforts matter, remind me of the harvest ahead. Grant me the perseverance to handle today’s tasks with a patient and steady heart. Amen.
