18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalms 147: 3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Isaiah 41: 10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Day 29 Reflection – Gods Presence when we need him

Today, take a moment to recognize God’s presence in moments of pain and hardship. Lent is a season to draw near to Him, even in brokenness. God does not abandon us in our struggles but draws closer, offering healing and hope. Reflect on areas in your life where you feel burdened or downcast and invite God into those spaces. Trust that He is near, walking with you every step of the journey.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You are always close to those who call on You with a humble heart. In times of sorrow or difficulty, help me to feel Your comforting presence. Heal my brokenness and renew my spirit. Give me the strength to trust in Your unfailing love and to carry Your light into the world. Amen.
