Day 11 of Lent Monday March 2nd 2026

Scripture
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” — Isaiah 40:29
Reflection
The beauty of the Lenten season is that it doesn’t pause for our busy schedules. Today, the journey continues right into the heart of our daily responsibilities. After the rest of yesterday, we don’t “leave” our spiritual focus to go back to “real life.” Instead, we bring the strength we found in the sanctuary into everything we touch today.
Isaiah’s promise is that God’s power is a constant, available current. Whether your day is quiet or demanding, you aren’t meant to fuel it on your own. Stepping up in this season means acknowledging that your energy, your patience, and your focus are all gifts to be received from Him. You aren’t just crossing tasks off a list; you are walking with God through the gift of a new day.
Prayer
Lord, I thank You for the clarity and strength You provide as I begin this day. I don’t see today as a distraction from my Lenten journey, but as the very place where I get to practice trusting You.
I offer You my mind, my hands, and my heart. When the day moves fast, help me to stay anchored in Your peace. I am grateful that I don’t have to rely on my own limited amount of energy, but can draw from Your infinite strength. Keep me steady, keep me focused, and keep me close to You. Amen.
