Friday October 10th – Faith
Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
This verse reminds us of the incredible power of faith, even the smallest amount. Faith is not about having grand, overwhelming certainty at all times but about trusting God’s power and presence in our lives. When we place our trust in Him, challenges that seem insurmountable—like mountains—can be overcome. This passage calls us to cultivate a faith that believes in God’s ability to work miracles, transform situations, and guide us through difficulties.
Prayer Lord Jesus,, thank You for reminding me that even the smallest faith can move mountains. Help me to trust in Your power and presence in every area of my life. When I face challenges, strengthen my faith so that I do not lose hope or become discouraged. Teach me to rely on You fully and to believe that nothing is impossible with You by my side. Increase my faith, Lord, and help me to live boldly, knowing that You are always with me.
