Sunday October 5th – Confessing Our Sins
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

This verse is a powerful reminder of God’s mercy and grace. It assures us that no matter how far we may have strayed, God is always ready to forgive us when we come to Him with a sincere and repentant heart. Confession is not just about admitting our wrongdoings, but about opening ourselves to God’s healing and restoration. It encourages us to live in honesty and humility, trusting that God’s faithfulness will purify and renew us.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. I come before You today with a humble heart, confessing my sins and shortcomings. Thank You for Your promise to forgive and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Help me to live in the light of Your grace, walking daily in truth and righteousness. Strengthen me to turn away from sin and to seek You earnestly in all things. May Your faithfulness be my hope and my guide. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
