Friday October 31th – Comforting Others
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

These verses remind us of the incredible compassion and comfort that God offers in times of trouble. He is not distant or indifferent but actively present, providing solace and strength. The comfort we receive from God is not just for our own benefit; it equips us to support and encourage others who face difficulties. This passage encourages us to be channels of God’s comfort, sharing His love and compassion with those around us, especially those who are suffering.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being the God of all comfort, who meets me in my troubles with compassion and peace. Help me to fully receive Your comfort and allow it to fill my heart. Teach me to be a source of comfort and hope to others, sharing the love You have poured into me. Use my experiences and Your grace to encourage those who are hurting, so that Your name may be glorified. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
