Sunday October 26th – Forgiveness

Mark 11:25 “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
This verse reminds us of the importance of forgiveness in our spiritual lives. Holding grudges or harboring resentment can create a barrier between us and God. When we approach God in prayer, our hearts must be free from bitterness and unforgiveness. Forgiving others is not always easy, but it is essential for our own peace and for maintaining a right relationship with God. God’s forgiveness toward us is generous and unconditional, and He calls us to extend that same grace to those who have wronged us.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your boundless forgiveness and mercy. Help me to release any grudges or bitterness I hold in my heart. Teach me to forgive others as You have forgiven me, so that I may come before You with a clean heart. Restore peace within me and strengthen my faith as I seek to live in Your grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
