Monday October 20th – The Fruit of the Spirit

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

This scripture encourages us to examine our own lives and consider how we embody these fruits. It reminds us that these qualities do not come from our own efforts but are the result of the Spirit working within us. As we grow in our faith, we become more like Jesus, and these fruits become more evident to those around us. They are not only for our benefit but also to bless and uplift others.

Prayer
Lord God, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit who works within me to produce the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help me to remain open to Your guidance and to yield more fully to Your Spirit each day. When I struggle to show these fruits, remind me of Your grace and strengthen me to grow in Christlikeness. May my life be a reflection of Your love and bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
