Sunday October 12th – Shout for Joy to the Lord

Psalm 100 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generation.

This is a joyful call to worship, inviting us to come before God with gladness and thanksgiving. It reminds us that God is our Creator and Shepherd, and we belong to Him. This psalm encourages us to enter His presence with praise and gratitude, recognizing His goodness, faithfulness, and everlasting love. It challenges us to live with a heart full of joy and appreciation for all that God has done and continues to do in our lives. In a world often filled with uncertainty and hardship, This Psalm reassures us of God’s constant presence and unchanging nature.

Prayer: Loving and gracious God, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and joy. Thank You for being my Creator, my Shepherd, and my faithful guide. Help me to remember that I belong to You and to live each day in Your presence with thanksgiving and praise. Teach me to trust in Your goodness and to reflect Your love in all that I do. May my life be a continual song of worship, honoring You in every circumstance.
Amen.
