“Trust in the Lord”, Daily Reflection and Prayer for Thursday August 21st 2025
Corinthians 15:10 “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.”

Reflection:
This verse reminds us that our identity and achievements are rooted in God’s grace. Paul acknowledges that while he worked hard, it was ultimately God’s grace that empowered him. This teaches us humility and dependence on God in all we do. It challenges us to recognize God’s hand in our lives and to rely on His strength rather than our own efforts alone.
Action:
Today, reflect on areas of your life where you may be relying solely on your own strength. Take a moment to invite God’s grace into those situations. Consider ways you can work diligently, but also with a heart open to God’s guidance and empowerment.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your amazing grace that shapes who I am. Help me to remember that my efforts are nothing without You. Teach me to rely on Your strength and to walk humbly with You each day. Empower me to work wholeheartedly, trusting in Your presence and power. Amen.
