Saturday September 20th 2025 – A Prayer for Faith
1 John 5:1-4 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of faith that allows us to be born of You through belief in Jesus Christ. Help us to love You fully and to love others as You command. Give us strength to keep Your commands joyfully, knowing they are not burdensome but life-giving. Empower us to overcome the challenges of this world through faith, holding firmly to the victory You have won for us. May our lives reflect Your love and truth each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
