Day 25 Reflection – Doing the Right Thing

Doing the right thing during Lent means striving to live in accordance with the teachings of Christ and making choices that reflect love, compassion, and justice. It requires us to examine our hearts, acknowledge our shortcomings, and seek forgiveness where we have failed.

This season invites us to go beyond mere abstinence and focus on positive actions that bring light to others. It challenges us to speak truth, act with integrity, and stand up for what is right, even when it is difficult. By prioritizing acts of kindness, charity, and humility, we embody the gospel message and draw closer to God.

As we journey through Lent, let us remember that doing the right thing is not just about avoiding sin but actively choosing virtue. It is about being Christlike in our daily interactions and allowing His love to guide our decisions. May this time of preparation inspire us to live with purpose, embrace righteousness, and be instruments of God’s grace in the world.

Prayer: Guide me in Your wisdom and truth as I navigate the challenges of life. Help me to discern what is right and just in every situation. Strengthen my heart to choose integrity over convenience, kindness over anger, and love over selfishness. When I face difficult decisions, may Your Spirit lead me on the path that honors You. Grant me courage to stand firm in my convictions and humility to admit when I’ve strayed. Let my actions reflect Your goodness and inspire others to do the same. In Your holy name, I pray. Amen.
