Day 24 of Lent Tuesday April 1st 2025

Mark 11: 24-25 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

Philippians 4: 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

James 5: 13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.

Day 24 of Lent – Prayer

Prayer is an intimate conversation with God, a moment to open our hearts and minds to His presence. During Lent, we are called to deepen this connection, setting aside distractions and seeking solitude, just as Jesus taught. In the quiet, we find the space to listen and grow closer to Him. Prayer is not about grand gestures or perfect words; it’s about sincerity and humility before God. Let each prayer be a moment of authentic surrender, trusting that He hears us and knows our needs even before we speak them.

Challenge for Today:
Set aside 10 minutes of your day to pray in a quiet place. Begin with gratitude, share your concerns, and take time to listen in silence.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to approach You with a heart full of faith and trust. Teach me to pray with sincerity and confidence, knowing You are always present, listening, and guiding me. May my time in prayer draw me closer to You. Amen.
