Day 20 of Lent Thursday March 27th 2025

Isaiah 40: 30-31 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Day 20 of Lent – Having Hope

Let us pause and reflect on the gift of hope that God places in our hearts. Hope is not simply wishful thinking but a firm trust in the promises of God, who is faithful and unchanging. It sustains us in times of uncertainty, reminding us that even in the darkest moments, the light of Christ shines ever brighter.

Today, consider the areas of your life where you need hope to be renewed. Bring these to God in prayer, asking Him to fill you with His peace and assurance. Let this season of Lent be a time to deepen your trust in God’s plan, knowing that through His love, all things are made new.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, in this Lenten season, teach me to cling to the hope You offer through Your Son, Jesus Christ. When I feel weary or uncertain, remind me of Your unchanging love and the promise of eternal life. Strengthen my faith and guide me to be a beacon of hope for others. Amen.
