Day 6 of Lent – Tuesday March 11th 2025
Matthew 21: 22 Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
Philippians 4: 6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Day 6 Reflection – The Power of Prayer

Prayer is more than just words; it is a sacred conversation with God, an opportunity to draw closer to Him and align our hearts with His will. Through prayer, we find strength in our struggles, clarity in our confusion, and peace in our worries.
In the Gospels, Jesus often retreated to pray, even amidst His busiest moments. His example teaches us that prayer is not just a last resort but a vital part of our daily lives. During this Lenten season, let us commit to deepening our prayer life. Whether through quiet meditation, heartfelt petitions, or simply sitting in God’s presence, prayer has the power to transform us and bring us into greater union with Him.
Today, take a moment to reflect: How can I make prayer a more intentional part of my daily routine? What distractions can I set aside to focus more fully on God? May this season of Lent renew our faith in the power of prayer and open our hearts to the grace and mercy of our loving Father.
Prayer: Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of prayer, a way to connect with You and feel Your presence in my life. During this Lenten season, help me to turn to You with an open heart, seeking Your guidance and love. Teach me to trust in Your plan and to find peace in Your will. May my prayers bring me closer to You and deepen my faith. Strengthen me to follow in the footsteps of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who taught us the power of prayer.
Amen.
