Psalms 51: 1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Psalms 51: 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Day 2 Reflection – A Call to Repentance
As we journey into the second day of Lent, take a moment to pause and reflect on the purpose of this season. Lent invites us into a time of self-examination, repentance, and renewal. It is a sacred opportunity to strip away distractions and realign our hearts with God’s will.
“Return to me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” (Joel 2:12)
Lent invites us to turn back to God in humility. What is holding you back from fully embracing His love?
Prayer: Lord, I come before You with a repentant spirit. Help me to turn away from sin and draw closer to Your mercy. Cleanse my heart, renew my spirit, and guide me in living a life that reflects Your love. Amen.
