The Joy of New Creation Sunday March 22nd 2026

Scripture
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
Reflection
Today is a “Little Easter.” We pause our Lenten disciplines to breathe in the finished work of Christ. If the past few weeks have felt like a long climb, today is the view from the summit. The message is simple and powerful: You are not a “work in progress” that might eventually be good enough. In Christ, you are already a new creation.
The Strength of Devotion we’ve talked about all week isn’t fueled by our own willpower; it’s fueled by this resurrection joy. The old habits, the old doubts, and the old weights “have gone.” Today, let the “new” take center stage. Use this Sunday to recharge your spirit, enjoy your family, and celebrate the growth you’ve seen in yourself. This joy is the “second wind” that will carry you through the final stretch toward Holy Week. You aren’t just enduring a season; you are living in the light of what is already finished.
Prayer
Lord, I thank You for this Little Easter. I step out of the shadows of Lenten discipline and into the bright light of Your grace. Thank You for making me new. Fill my heart with a joy so strong that it carries me through the coming week with confidence and peace. I celebrate Your victory today! Amen.
