Tuesday October 28th – Generosity and Compassion
Luke 3:11 “John answered, ‘Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.’”
This verse reminds us of the importance of generosity and compassion. John the Baptist calls us to action—not just to feel empathy but to actively share our resources with those in need. It challenges us to look beyond ourselves and recognize the abundance we have, encouraging us to use it to help others. True faith is demonstrated through acts of kindness and selflessness, reflecting God’s love in tangible ways.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to see the needs around me and to respond with a generous heart. Teach me to share not just my possessions but also my time and love with those who lack. May my actions reflect Your grace and bring comfort to those who are struggling. Give me the courage to live out Your call to love and serve others each day. Amen.
