Sunday October 19th – Worshiping God
John 4:23-24 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.

In these verses, Jesus reveals the essence of true worship. It is not tied to a specific location or ritual but is a matter of the heart and spirit. True worshipers connect with God sincerely and authentically, guided by the Holy Spirit. This passage challenges us to examine our own worship—are we worshiping out of habit or tradition, or are we engaging deeply with God in spirit and truth? God desires a genuine relationship, where worship flows from an intimate and honest connection with Him.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to be a true worshiper, worshiping You not just with my words, but with my heart and spirit. Teach me to seek You sincerely and to honor You in truth. May my worship be pleasing to You, reflecting my genuine love and devotion. Guide me by Your Spirit so that I may draw closer to You every day. Amen.
