“Trust in the Lord”, Daily Reflection and Prayer for Monday August 18th 2025
1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

Reflection:
This verse reminds us that the talents and abilities we have are not just for our own benefit but are gifts from God meant to be shared. Serving others with our unique gifts is an act of stewardship, showing gratitude and faithfulness to God. It encourages us to look beyond ourselves, recognizing that our contributions can build up and support the community around us. Reflecting on this, we can ask ourselves how we are using our gifts to serve others and whether we are being faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us.
Action:
Identify one gift or talent you have been blessed with, whether it’s kindness, teaching, creativity, or any other skill. Find a way to use that gift this week to help someone else or contribute to your community. This could be volunteering, offering encouragement, sharing knowledge, or any act of service that reflects God’s grace through you.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gifts and talents You have given me. Help me to see them as opportunities to serve others and glorify Your name. Teach me to be a faithful steward of Your grace, to use what I have received for the good of those around me. Guide me to act with love and humility, reflecting Your heart in all I do. Amen.
