Very nice prayer. With everything going on in the world right now, it’s easy to get lost in it all. This prayer also helps to remind us we’re not alone and there is help. We just have to ask for it. Thank you for posting!

April, thank you for the uplifting and enlightening comments.

Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

The answers we seek for a peaceful life, a good life are truely in the text of the bible. I wish you well on your journey through life.

      Hi April,

Thank you for the reply. The name April is associated with new beginings and renewal just as in spring. The bible also is associated with new begingins and renewal of our relationship with God. Thank you so much for reading our reflections and prayer for August.

It is easy to forget what gifts God has given us all. Thank you for the reminder. It’s easy to get wrapped up in all the bad things going on in the world and forget that there are good things going on and God is a part of those things. Thank you again.

      Hi April,

I am glad to see that you follow our daily reflection and prayer. I would like to leave you with an inspirational verse.

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Please continue to join us daily for reflection and prayer.

Thank you for today’s prayer! I know I could use a reminder to request help from life’s burdens and use some peace and rest. Life is hard and appears to only be getting harder. Thank you the reminders.

Forgive and don’t judge….sounds so easy buy yet so difficult to actually practice. Thank you for the refreshing reminders. It’s so quick and easy to forget that especially when “in the moment”. I try to stop and think how I would feel in that situation and act from there but again, easier said than done. Thank you again. 🙂

Thank you for the reply. As you mentioned, it’s is hard to stop and think in the moment, and live with a philosophy of, “What Would Jesus Do”. God knows that our actions are not always perfect. If we acknowledge our failures, and put our best forward again to do what is right, I believe that God would understand.

Thank you for the prayer for anxiety. God’s peace is bigger than our fears and our anxieties.

      Hi April,

Thank you for the reply. It’s important to remember that God loves us and we can rely on him for help. His plans might always align with ours at the moment but ultimately his plans are what we truely need and not what we think we might need.
