Recipes for Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Hard boil the eggs: Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let sit for 10-12 minutes. Transfer eggs to an ice bath and cool.
  2. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  3. Mash the yolks with a fork and mix in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced

Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop out the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork, leaving some chunks for texture.
  3. Stir in lime juice, salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Add diced onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic. Mix well.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Veggie Platter

Ingredients:

  • Assorted raw vegetables (carrots, celery sticks, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper strips, cucumber slices, broccoli florets)
  • Hummus or ranch dressing for dipping

Instructions:

  1. Wash and prepare the vegetables by cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Arrange the vegetables on a large platter in an appealing design.
  3. Place hummus or ranch dressing in small bowls for dipping.
  4. Serve fresh and chilled.
