Eastertide Day 2 – Holy Monday April 21 2025
Matthew 28 : 17-20 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
As we continue to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, we are reminded of His promise to be with us always. The joy of Easter is not confined to one day but extends into every moment of our lives. The resurrection assures us that Christ’s presence is constant, offering hope, guidance, and peace. Let us take time today to reflect on how we experience the presence of Jesus in our daily lives and how His resurrection brings renewed purpose to our journey of faith.
Prayer: Risen Lord, thank You for the gift of Your presence with us always. As we bask in the joy of Your resurrection, help us to carry that joy into our lives and share it with others. Strengthen our faith and open our hearts to recognize You in every circumstance. May we live as people of hope, holding fast to the promise of Your eternal love. Be with us today and every day, guiding us closer to You.
