Day 32 of Lent April 10th 2025

Galatians 6: 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ

John 15: 12-13 This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.

1 Peter 4: 8-10 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Day 32 of Lent – Community

As we journey through Lent, we are reminded of the importance of community. Jesus lived in fellowship, sharing meals, offering comfort, and serving those around Him. In times of struggle or joy, we are called to support one another, reflecting Christ’s love within our relationships. Lent is an opportunity to strengthen these bonds, reaching out to those in need and growing together in faith.

How can you bear someone’s burden today? Perhaps it is through offering a listening ear, lending a helping hand, or simply being present. By serving others, we fulfill the law of Christ and draw closer to God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, You have shown us the beauty and necessity of community. Help us to be mindful of the needs of those around us. Teach us to serve with humility and love, reflecting Your grace in our actions. Unite us as Your body, so that we may grow together in faith and bring Your light to the world. Amen.
